Permanent Makeup Removal
Permanent makeup is also applied as a tattoo and therefore the rules of tattoo removal also apply, with a few exceptions. The most important difference is that permanent makeup typically uses less ink than traditional tattoos, which makes the removal process easier than it would be with a traditional tattoo. However, sometimes many layers of color are present on top of one another.
The process for removing permanent makeup may require more than one session, though typically, small cosmetic tattoos can be treated in one session. Typically you will see fading after the initial treatment, and the permanent makeup will continue to lighten for several weeks. At your follow-up appointment, Lea will determine if further treatments are necessary.
